Situation of adolescent mothers in Huancavelica. Gaps and challenges in eight population centers in the district of Yauli

Executive summary of the qualitative study that addresses adolescent pregnancy and motherhood, in relation to their education and health, in eight population centers in the district of Yauli, in the Huancavelica region.

This study was conducted with the participation of 49 adolescents between 14 and 18 years of age, from seven of the eight minor population centers (MPC) selected from the rural community of Chopcca (Ambato, Ccasapata, Condorhuachana, Chucllaccasa, Santa Rosa de Cchopcca, Ccolpaccasa, Chuñunapampa and Castillapata). The results show the social limitations that adolescents face during pregnancy and motherhood.
