A look at violence against children and adolescents in Peru
The COVID-19 pandemic is having a devastating effect worldwide. This situation makes children and adolescents more vulnerable and more exposed to violence, especially abuse, sexual violence, domestic and gender-based violence and labor exploitation.
Based on the recommendations to strengthen the Protection System: “Children and adolescents free and safe from violence”, formulated by the working groups held in 2020, the Steering Group to End the Violence against Children and Adolescents submits the following proposals to the President and the Congress of the Republic.
